Description
Gabbeh carpets, woven in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Persian and are simple, rustic carpets. Popular since the 1990s, they offer a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They have thick, luxurious pile, a wide variety of colours and bold geometric and animal motifs. Patterns can be abstract or representational, often featuring animals or people. Made of wool, they range from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room.
