Description
Gabbeh carpets, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and are simple and rustic. Popular since the early 1990s, they offer a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets, often associated with formal interior design. With thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours, they feature cool geometric and animal motifs, abstract or representational. Mostly made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
