Description
Najaf Abad, near the cultural city of Isfahan, is known for its oriental carpets, which are characterised by patterns and colours similar to those from Isfahan, but are not quite as finely crafted. Classic oriental carpets are hand-knotted, one-of-a-kind pieces that have passed down their unique patterns through generations. Their origin influences the method of manufacture, the material and the motifs, especially in the case of high-quality Persian carpets, which are named after their city of origin. These works of art are made from first-class materials, have a high knot density and combine unique colour harmonies with traditional designs. Whether made of fine silk or soft sheep’s wool, oriental carpets lend every room a special touch and an expression of luxury and craftsmanship.
