Description
Loom Lori rugs are hand-woven treasures from India, including the popular Gabbeh rugs, named after the Farsi word for “raw”. Since the 1990s, they have become increasingly popular as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, whether abstract or featuring motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. With sizes ranging from small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and offer a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, reflecting rugged beauty and cultural depth.
