Description
Gabbeh carpets from Iran and India are hand-knotted works whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Popular since the early 1990s as a casual alternative to formal Persian rugs, they have a thick pile, many colours and feature cool, geometric or animal motifs, abstract or representational. Mostly made of wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
