Description
Gabbeh rugs, knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and have offered a more relaxed, folk-inspired alternative to traditional Persian rugs since the early 1990s. They have a thick, luxurious pile with a variety of colours and cool geometric and animal motifs. Patterns can be abstract or representational, often featuring animals or people. Mostly made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
