Khorjin carpets are made from hand-spun sheep's wool of the highest quality, particularly in Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Before the carpet is actually knotted, the wool is spun by hand. Wool is known for its natural, extremely durable properties such as dirt repellency and thermal insulation. It is also exceptionally soft and gives the carpet a natural sheen.
