Description
Gabbeh rugs are hand-knotted in Iran and India. In Farsi, “Gabbeh” means raw and describes a simple, rustic rug style. Since the 1990s, they have enjoyed great popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They have a thick, luxurious pile and feature a variety of colours as well as cool, geometric and animal motifs. Usually made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room in the house.
