Description
Gabbeh rugs, knotted in Iran and India, are known for their rustic charm. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes their simple nature. Since the 1990s, they have gained popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are associated with formal interior design. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile, offer a variety of colours and feature cool geometric or animal motifs, whether abstract or representational. Made of wool on wool, they range in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
