Description
This carpet is one of the traditional village and nomadic carpets from Iran. These carpets are hand-knotted in small towns and villages as well as by nomads in the open air, following centuries-old traditions. Carpets from Shiraz and Ghashghai are created without a template, directly from the knotters’ minds, which gives them their individual character. They are characterised by linear and geometric patterns that reflect cultural traditions. With their authentic manufacturing methods and rich history, these carpets embody the unique character of ancient Persia. They are not only decorative works of art, but also living testimonies to a deeply rooted cultural heritage tradition.
