Description
This carpet is one of the traditional village and nomadic carpets from Iran. In small towns and villages, as well as by nomads in the open air, these carpets are knotted by hand using centuries-old methods. Shiraz and Ghashghai carpets are created without a template and exclusively from the weaver’s imagination, which gives them their unique, linear and geometric patterns. These carpets reflect the cultural tradition and heritage of ancient Persia and have a very special character that is shaped by their handcrafted production and cultural origins. Each carpet is unique, embodying the historical craftsmanship and traditional style of the region.
