Description
This carpet is one of the village and nomadic carpets from Iran that are knotted in small towns and villages and by nomads in the open air. The traditional craftsmanship is carried out without a template, with the carpets being created directly from the mind. Typical are the straight-lined and geometric patterns that give these carpets their characteristic look. Shiraz and Ghashghai carpets are an expression of cultural tradition and embody ancient Persia in a unique way. Their manufacture reflects centuries-old techniques and gives each carpet a distinctive touch.
