This Sarab carpet was handmade by talented weavers in the city of the same name in western Iran. Sarab carpets are known for their high quality, fine herringbone pattern and muted colours. Made from sturdy wool pile, they are exceptionally wear-resistant. The attractive and unique design of the carpet consists of a camel hair background on which repeating hexagon patterns, partly interrupted by diamonds, are arranged. This carpet blends harmoniously into almost any environment and adds a special touch to any room.
