Description
Najaf Abad, located near the cultural city of Isfahan, is known for its oriental carpets, which feature patterns and colours similar to those of Isfahan, but are less refined. Classic oriental carpets are hand-knotted, unique pieces whose characteristic patterns have been passed down through generations. The manufacturing method, material and motifs of a carpet are strongly influenced by its origin. Particularly high-quality Persian carpets are named after their city of origin and are characterised by exquisite materials, high knot density, unique colour harmonies and traditional designs. Whether made of fine silk or soft sheep’s wool, Oriental carpets lend every room a special touch and reflect a long tradition of craftsmanship.
