Description
This exquisite carpet is a Persian Lori Baff and is one of the highest quality Gabbeh carpets. It is knotted by nomads or semi-nomads in Iran using traditional craft techniques. The simple motifs and patterns, inspired by the nomads’ surroundings, often feature camels, trees or bushes. Made from fine wool from locally kept sheep, the wool is usually still spun by hand. Each Lori Baff carpet thus embodies the unique character and centuries-old culture of the Orient.
