Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have been popular as a more relaxed, folk-inspired alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are known for their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, either abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Made primarily from wool, there are also variations in cotton or other materials. They come in a range of sizes, from small mats to large rugs, and fit into any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and offer a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, while exuding rugged beauty and cultural depth.
