Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed increasing popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are known for their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colour palettes and bold geometric patterns, either abstract or featuring motifs such as animals or people. Made from wool, sometimes cotton or other materials, they range in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the home. These rugs symbolise craftsmanship and offer a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, combining rugged beauty and cultural depth.
