Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed increasing popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, either abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variations in cotton or other materials. Their size varies from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and offer a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, reflecting robust beauty and cultural depth.
