Description
Loom Lori carpets are hand-woven treasures from India, known for their Gabbeh variants, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Popular since the early 1990s, they offer a more relaxed, folk-inspired alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Made primarily from wool, there are also cotton and other variations. They range in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and charmingly complement modern or traditional interior styles, exuding rugged beauty and cultural depth.
