Description
Loom Lori rugs, handwoven in India, include the popular Gabbeh rugs, named after the Farsi word for “raw”. Since the early 1990s, they have been a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs and are enjoying growing popularity. Gabbehs are known for their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, whether abstract or featuring motifs such as animals and people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variations in cotton and other materials. Their size varies from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room. These rugs embody craftsmanship and blend charmingly into modern or traditional interior styles, with a rugged beauty and cultural depth that reflects their origins.
