Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a relaxed, more folksy alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, either abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. Ranging in size from small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and blend charmingly with modern or traditional interior styles. They exude rugged beauty and cultural depth, and their artful designs make them a remarkable choice for any space.
