Loom Lori carpets are hand-woven treasures from India, particularly known for their Gabbeh variant, which means "raw" in Farsi. Since the 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, either abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, occasionally also of cotton or other materials, they range in size from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room.
