Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, include the popular Gabbeh carpets, named after the Farsi word for “raw”. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed increasing popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs are known for their thick, luxurious pile and variety of colours, as well as bold geometric patterns, abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variations in cotton or other materials. They range from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and offer a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, reflecting rugged beauty and cultural depth.
