Description
Loom Lori rugs are hand-woven treasures from India, including the popular Gabbeh rugs, named after the Farsi word for “raw”. Since the early 1990s, they have grown in popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, whether abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they can also be made of cotton or other materials. The rugs vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit perfectly into any room. They embody craftsmanship and are a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, exuding rugged beauty and cultural depth.
