Description
Loom Lori carpets from India, especially Gabbeh carpets, are known for their hand-weaving craftsmanship and their origin in the Farsi word “roh”, which means “raw”. Since the early 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, either abstract or featuring motifs such as animals or people. Made primarily from wool, there are also variations in cotton or other materials. Their size varies from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the home. These rugs embody craftsmanship and complement both modern and traditional interior styles with their rugged beauty and cultural depth, making them a charming addition.
