Description
Loom Lori rugs, handwoven in India, include the popular Gabbeh rugs, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have gained popularity as a relaxed, folk alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, either abstract or figurative with motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, some are also made of cotton or other materials. Their sizes range from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room. These rugs embody craftsmanship and are a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, reflecting robust beauty and cultural depth.
