Description
Loom Lori carpets are hand-woven in India. The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes a simple, rustic carpet. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, a wide range of colours and bold geometric patterns. The designs can be abstract or figurative, often depicting animals or people. They are usually made of wool, occasionally cotton or other materials. Sizes range from small mats to large rugs, and they are suitable for any room in the house. These rugs embody craftsmanship and offer a characterful addition to modern or traditional interior styles.
