Description
Loom Lori carpets are hand-woven in India and include the popular Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have become popular as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, which can be either abstract or figurative, often featuring animal or human motifs. They are usually made of wool, occasionally cotton or other materials. Sizes range from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the home. Gabbehs embody craftsmanship and offer a charming addition to modern or traditional interior styles, creating a relaxed, folksy atmosphere.
