Loom Lori carpets are hand-woven in India. The term "Gabbeh" comes from Farsi and means "raw". Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed increasing popularity as a relaxed and folksy alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbeh rugs are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns. The designs can be abstract or representational, often depicting animals or people. Mainly made of wool, they also come in cotton or other materials. Their sizes range from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the house. Their handcrafted production gives each rug uniqueness and quality, while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
