Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, are known for their Gabbeh collection, whose name means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have become increasingly popular as a relaxed, folk alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, a wide range of colours and bold geometric patterns. These patterns can be abstract or representational, often depicting animals or people. Made from wool, sometimes cotton or other materials, they range in size from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room in the home. They embody a rustic charm and offer a natural elegance that is both timeless and versatile.
