Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, comprise the Gabbeh series, named after the Persian word for “raw”. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a more relaxed, folk-inspired alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, presented in a variety of vibrant colours and bold geometric patterns. These patterns can be abstract or representational, often depicting animals or people. Made from wool, and sometimes cotton or other materials, Gabbeh rugs vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any interior design. They embody craftsmanship and culture and offer a charming way to enhance rooms with their rustic, handcrafted charm.
