Loom Lori carpets are hand-woven works of art from India. The term "Gabbeh" means "raw" in Farsi and describes their simple, rustic nature. Since the 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are known for their thick, luxurious pile, variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, which can be abstract or representational, often depicting animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. They range in size from small mats to large rugs, allowing them to be used in any room of the house.
