Description
Loom Lori carpets from India are hand-woven works of art known as Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi. Since the 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are characterised by their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colour palette and bold geometric patterns. These patterns can be abstract or figurative, often featuring motifs of animals or people. Mostly made of wool, cotton and other materials are also used. They are available in various sizes, from small mats to large rugs, and are suitable for any room in the home. Gabbeh rugs add warmth, character and cultural depth to any space, reflecting their artisanal origins and artistic tradition.
