Description
Loom Lori carpets, hand-woven in India, comprise the Gabbeh collection, named after the Farsi word for “raw”. Since the 1990s, they have gained popularity as a relaxed, folk-inspired alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, available in a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns. These rugs can feature abstract or representational designs, often with motifs of animals or people. Made from wool, cotton or other materials, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are versatile enough to be used in any room of the house. Their rustic simplicity adds a warm, characterful touch to any space, perfectly complementing both modern and traditional interior styles.
