Description
Loom Lori carpets, known as Gabbeh, are hand-woven in India on wide looms. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes their simple, rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh rugs offer a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often abstract or featuring animal and human representations. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton and other materials. The size varies from small mats to large rugs and they fit well in any room of the house.
