Description
Loom Lori Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven in India on wide looms, are known for their rustic beauty. The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes their simple nature. Since the 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. These rugs offer a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they are also available in cotton or other materials. Gabbeh rugs range from small mats to large carpets and fit perfectly in any room of the house.
