The Khorjin carpet is made from hand-spun sheep’s wool of the highest quality, a tradition particularly prevalent in Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Wool is spun by hand there before the actual knotting process begins. Wool is known for its natural and extremely durable properties, such as dirt repellency and thermal insulation.
