Description
Kilim rugs differ from hand-knotted rugs in that they are hand-woven, making them flatter and rougher without a high wool pile. This makes them more affordable and lighter, and allows both sides to be used. Originally from Persia, they are also produced in India, often with simple, straightforward patterns due to their weaving technique.
