Gabbeh 90×60

Gabbeh carpets are hand-knotted works from Iran and India. "Gabbeh" means "raw" in Farsi and describes their simple, rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed alternative to formal Persian carpets. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile and feature a variety of colours and cool geometric or animal motifs, abstract or representational. Usually made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room in the house.
