Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi. Since the 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs have thick pile, many colours and feature cool geometric or animal motifs, abstract or figurative. Mostly made of wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room. These rustic rugs offer luxury and simplicity at the same time, without the formal association of traditional Persian rugs.
