Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and are known for their simple, rustic style. Popular since the early 1990s, they offer a more relaxed alternative to more formal Persian carpets. With thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours, Gabbehs feature cool, geometric or animal motifs, abstract or representational. Mostly made of wool, they vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room in the house.
