Description
Gabbeh carpets are hand-knotted in Iran and India. The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes simple, rustic carpets. Since the 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs have a thick pile, diverse colours and geometric or animal motifs. Made of wool, they vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room.
