Description
Gabbeh rugs, knotted in Iran and India, represent a simple and rustic rug style. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and has offered a popular, more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs since the 1990s. These rugs are known for their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and cool geometric and animal motifs, which can be both abstract and figurative. Made from wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit perfectly into any room in the house.
