Description
Gabbeh carpets from Iran and India have been growing in popularity since the early 1990s as they offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes their simple, rustic style. These rugs are known for their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and cool geometric and animal motifs, which are often abstract or figurative. Made from wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
