Description
Gabbeh rugs from Iran and India are known for their rustic style; the word “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi. Since the early 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are often associated with formal interior design. These rugs have a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and often feature cool, geometric or animal motifs, both abstract and representational. They are typically made of wool on wool and are available in a range of sizes to suit any room in the home.
