Description
Gabbeh rugs, knotted in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and embody a simple, rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have been popular as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are often associated with classic interior design. Gabbehs are known for their thick, luxurious pile, diverse colour palette and cool, geometric and animal motifs. Usually made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
