Description
Gabbeh rugs, from Iran and India, mean ‘raw’ in Farsi and embody a simple, rustic style. Popular since the early 1990s, they offer a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, often associated with formal interiors. Gabbehs have thick pile, diverse colours and feature cool geometric and animal motifs. Usually made of wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
