Description
Gabbeh rugs from Iran and India, meaning “raw” in Farsi, have been popular since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, which are typical of more formal interiors. With thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and cool, geometric or animal motifs, they are often made of wool on wool. Their patterns can be abstract or representational, often depicting animals or people. From small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room in the home.
