Description
Gabbeh carpets are knotted in Iran and India. The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes simple, rustic carpets. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a relaxed, folksy alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, a wide variety of colours and bold geometric and animal motifs. They are typically made of wool and are available in various sizes to suit any room.
