Description
Gabbeh carpets, hand-knotted in Iran and India, derive their name from the Farsi word for “raw” and embody a simple, rustic style. Since the early 1990s, they have become increasingly popular as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs offer a thick, luxurious pile, a variety of colours and cool geometric and animal motifs. Typically made of wool, they range in size from small mats to large carpets that can be used in various rooms of the home.
