Description
Gabbeh rugs, originating in Iran and India, mean “raw” in Farsi and are known for their simple, rustic style. Since the 1990s, they have been gaining popularity as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. These rugs have a thick, luxurious pile, rich colour variety and often cool geometric or animal motifs. Made from wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit well in any room of the house, often decorated with abstract or figurative patterns featuring animals or people.
